Our client, an established Electrical Company based in East London (Zone 2) are looking for a Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant to join their family run team. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable and stable organisation who offer longevity.
The Role
· Balancing accounts
· Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
· Completing VAT returns
· Preparing invoices for the Inland Revenue
· Checking company bank statements
· Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
· Working with spreadsheets.
· Preparing statutory accounts.
· Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
· Managing petty cash transactions.
· Controlling credit and chasing debt.
· Tracking credit notes and rebates.
· Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
The Person
· Must have gained Finance Assistant/Bookkeeping experience
· Must have an analytical mindset
· Team player
· Highly organized
· Able to work autonomously
· Intermediate to advanced IT skills
