Our client, a Global Investment Management firm with offices in all major financial centres, is looking to add to their already first class PA and EA group, by hiring a bright, intelligent, grounded and inquisitive Assistant to support a group of senior executives in their International division.

Reflecting the profiles of the staff who make up this successful business, the Assistant will need to meet the specific criteria the firm are looking for. Personality, attitude and approach are so important – so you will ideally be an experienced PA/EA, with exposure to the investment world, experience of supporting senior executives and be able to pre-empt changes and proactively plan ahead. You will be degree educated, or of graduate calibre, with strong A levels and an innate thirst for knowledge and a desire to have an understanding of the world you are operating in. You will have an open, friendly and personable approach. A team spirited nature is imperative, the Assistant group is inclusive and supportive, so wanting to be a part of this and help your fellow Assistants, as they will you, is also highly important. This is by no means an ivory tower position – you will be an integral part of the team, group and wider office of 90, but this is not to suggest it is a junior role. You will be in regular contact with the most senior executives in the firm, operating at senior management level and liaising with stakeholders internally and externally, all over the world.

This will be a 1:4 role, supporting with the complex diary scheduling, understanding time zones, rearranging and making decisions on meetings on a regular basis. Arranging international travel and full itineraries, you will be more than accustomed to managing this. With this under your belt, you will then have exposure to projects and programmes that are being carried out within your team. They would like, most of all, to feel they have someone with them who can take on certain responsibilities, get involved and add value beyond the complex scheduling which of course makes up the “bread and butter” of the role.

Culturally, there couldn’t be a friendlier, more supportive investment business in which to work – yes expectations are high and you will be challenged, but you will also be working in a supportive and positive environment.

If you are a bright, interested, experienced Assistant, with a strong educational background and exposure to the investment world, please do submit your CV to this role with scope and opportunity.
