A fantastic new permanent role has become available working for a successful global financial advisory firm based in the heart of the City just by St Paul's tube station. This new evening role will be working for 4pm – 12am Monday to Friday on a full time 6 month contract basis.

This role calls for an experienced senior presentations specialist to join a prestigious city investment firm leading a team of experienced operational and workflow personnel, together with the day-to-day management of workflow for the London and India teams. This is a varied and interesting DTP role which offers a wealth of scope to move into graphics work, this is a great position which offers a friendly, busy and lively working environment. Other key responsibilities are listed below:

Some key responsibilities within this role will be as follows:

  • Motivating and leading the team by example through a professional yet approachable style, clearly setting out expectations and standards
  • Ensuring SMART objectives are set and encourage team members to be responsible for their own personal development plan
  • Ensuring effective two-way communication with team and clients alike.  Delivering a consistent and professional service
  • Organising training for your team, in line with established personal development plans
  • Management of the Presentation Services email inbox and walk-in banker requests
  • Managing submission of work from clients ensuring all relevant information is captured and submitted for each request
  • Estimating production times through a thorough pre-flight, agreeing deadlines and overall Symphony and workflow management
  • Proactive management of all deadlines for London and India.  Obtaining regular updates from Operators (London) and Workflow (India) regarding document progress
  • Building professional and working relationship with all clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team
  • Ensuring the client is communicated to at an appropriate level and frequency
  • Handling all queries relating to documents from clients and Operators.  Offering clients solutions to problems
  • Services and requirements to conform to the Service Line Agreement (SLA) for this account

The desired candidate should have the following experience to be selected for interview:

  • Experience of working in a corporate culture
  • Self-motivated, ability to think on the spot
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Should be a quick learner, able to pick up and oversee existing workflow procedures and administrative processes
  • Determination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when required
  • Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A theoretical knowledge of graphics production would be an advantage
  • Exposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
