We are currently seeking a Payroll Manager for a growing national construction and property company. This exciting organisation believes investing into its employers and making sure they reach their full potential and so consequently you will be working in an exciting and vibrant organisation.

As the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:

  • Processing and management of the Company’s payroll.
  • Process, produce reports and journals and coordinate an accurate and efficient filing system.
  • Producing payroll related reports to present to management.
  • Oversee the monthly reconciliation of HMRC payments, Company Pension, Childcare vouchers etc.
  • Keeping payroll information confidential.
  • Keeping updated with existing and new HMRC legislation. Enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on critical and needed actions.
  • Managing the payroll team including managing performance and development.
  • Updating any payroll processes for smoother operation of payroll management
  • Overseeing compliance checks
  • Liaise with external auditors on the audit of the payroll system.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Extensive Payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of Agresso.
  • Advanced experience with Resourcelink system.
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Numerically proficient and able to calculate manually to a high standard.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work calmly under and pressure whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service to colleagues as required.
  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.
  • Highly competent in problem analysis and problem solving skills.
