Our Client, a global construction company are currently recruiting for a Document Controller based in East London. The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, understand the importance of being able to work in a pressured environment and feel comfortable doing so. Our client is looking for someone with a bubbly personality who enjoys working in a construction environment.

The Document Controller will be responsible for efficiently managing control of documentation and administrative processes in accordance with Project Specific and Company Procedures with particular emphasis in package interfaces.

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000

The key responsibilities will be:

·Responsible to assist Design Managers in all design approval processes

·Responsible to administer the Collaborative Tool/Data Base for the Project

·Responsible to regularly verify Project Inbox in order to monitor uploads of the documentation

·Responsible to liaise with the project team with regards to registration, flow, closure, dispatch and filing of any documentation produced

·Responsible to assist Design Manager with monitoring the performance of the Design Team including preparation and dispatch of project reports to the relevant team members and other parties

·Responsible to organise printing of hard copies of the approved documents, as required by the Dispatch Matrix, and if required, keeping an updated set of copies available on racks or in files for project team usage

·Responsible to maintain and complete the document control filing and archiving in accordance with the Company Procedures

Required Skills

·To succeed in the role you will have the following skills and experience:

·Good all round Administration skills with Document Control experience/knowledge and 4projects experience

·Quick learner with strong IT skills (MS Office)

·Capacity to work effectively within a team environment

·Systematic problem solving ability

·Organisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work)
