Role Description
Deliver a professional administrative support service to the PAs in either the Corporate or Finance Groups.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position.

Key Responsibilities
• Build an understanding of the nature of the groups' work, get to know the fee earners and build relationships with the PAs across the groups.
• Build a network of strong working relationships internally.
• Use the firm's resources efficiently eg print room, global document production.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly act on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions.
• Organise and prioritise workload and keep a level-headed approach in a busy working environment.
• Printing, scanning, copying and filing documents and emails.
• Assist with training, business development and finance administration.
• Arranging meetings, conference calls, video conferences and events.
• Arranging couriers and taxis.
• Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages.
• Take ownership of enquiries, or identify alternative contacts as appropriate.
• Accurate and regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from store.
• Provide cover for others in the team as requested.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Person Specification
The Candidate
Essential
• Excellent secretarial skills, fast accurate typing
• Good administrative and organisational ability
• Good level of numeracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Professional telephone manner
General Attributes
• Ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach.
• Ability to think on one's fee to solve administrative problems, using support service departments as necessary.
• Client orientated approach - client focused both internally and externally
Willing to become involved with a desire to learn.
• Flexibility with overtime.
Skills and Experience
• Have previously been employed in a full-time office position, preferably in a legal firm.
• Accurate copy and audio typing at 40+ words per minute.
• Sound knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications and Training
Minimum 5 GCSE's or equivalent at A-C including English and Maths
