Luxury, high end beauty establishment based in the heart of Knightsbridge are seeking a switched on, enthusiastic and positive Operations Manager. This position is in place to support the General Manager, and drive marketing and sales for the business forward. This is an amazing opportunity for those with some existing managerial experience those who are budding leaders. A great sales driven, forward thinking and innovative mind would fit in excellently here with a thirst for leadership.   You will be working closely with the General Manager, Salon Manager and company Directors to ensure the company exceeds expectations and retains it’s particularly high standard both front of house and behind the scenes. You will be part of the senior management team, working alongside the other department managers to drive the business forward.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing 4 receptionists and their performance
  • Scheduling appointments and rotas for assistants
  • Creating rotas, feedback, results and addressing evaluation
  • Monitoring in-house budgets – petty cash, staffing, product ordering and so on
  • Monitoring all promotional activity and sale and redemption of promotional material
  • Operational management – implementing and improving salon systems
  • Merchandising and pricing
  • Inventory and stock control
  • Induction and training of new members of staff
  • Ensuring excellent communication between all clients, customers, Directors and staff, departments and so on
  • Ensure VIPs and top tier clients are managed to a triple "A" standard
  • Responsible for hosting and client welcome/intro packs
  • Prepare periodic management reports including holidays, sickness absence and information required for payroll, account client reports, VAT reports, discount reports staff commission reports etc.

Ideally, we’re looking for applicants with:

  • Experience in either retail, hospitality or similar
  • Management experience essential – preferably in the above industries
  • A can-do, positive attitude and reliable approach
  • Great time keeping and a positive energy!
