We are seeking a personable, well organised REWARD MANAGER to cover a 12 months contract working for an International Media Agency group.   You will have an excellent eye for detail and methodical approach to work.  This position covers both payroll and benefits so solid experience in these areas are a necessity.  There is scope to be involved with the rest of the HR team and work on other projects (such as their On-Boarding, Reward and Recognition and Gender Pay Gap projects).  The Reward Manager manages compensation, benefits, reward and recognition activities for agencies in the UK & Ireland. This includes the monthly payroll process and benefits management as well as regular reward activities such as annual compensation review, salary surveys and benchmarking. The role also involves line management responsibility for the Reward Assistant, who supports the compensation, benefits and reward activities and works closely with the HR Assistants/Advisors to ensure a seamless and engaging employee life-cycle experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage the monthly payroll process across multiple payrolls for UK & Ireland to ensure the accurate collation and processing of payroll instructions in accordance with the payroll timetable and deadlines
  • Ensure relevant payroll approvals have been obtained and compliance with company policy
  • Present monthly Benefits & Development induction sessions for new starters, alongside the L&D Manager, to provide information around the company benefits and enrolment process
  • Lead an ongoing Reward & Recognition project to plan, design and implement a recognition scheme across the agency groups.
  • Manage the relationship with third-party benefits consultants, partnering closely with them with regards to benefits design and terms, legislative changes and communications 
  • Ensure employee benefit queries are resolved promptly, as escalated from the Reward Assistant, working closely with benefits consultants where required
  • Manage the end-to-end annual compensation review and bonus processes and timelines – including communications, ensuring the accurate provision of employee compensation and benchmarking data and working closely with HR Business Partners, MDs and Finance to ensure recommendations are collated, reviewed and submitted for approval in line with compensation guidelines, procedures and deadlines
  • Ensure the accurate reporting from PeopleSoft HR system to collate and review employee data for annual salary benchmarking surveys, conducting analysis of benchmarking results
  • Ensure the accurate workflow and processing of new starters via the online Onboarding platform, updating relevant communications and documents where required

This is a very busy and varied position which requires solid experience and a background in a Reward/Payroll/Benefits role(s), an exceptional eye for detail, rigour and process, the ability to build relationships quickly and credibly across all levels and a flexible and adaptable;  willing to roll sleeves up and get stuck in nature!
