JOB SUMMARY

The role is that of a Corporate Case Administrator within the Corporate Team. The individual’s responsibility will be to administer a case load of CVL’s and Administrations, ensuring that all statutory responsibilities are fulfilled and the IP’s duties to maximise realisations for the benefit of creditors are upheld.

The candidate must be able to manage own workload and meet time critical deadlines; therefore demonstrating excellent organisational skills.

The candidate should have an overall commercial outlook, ensuring that the firm’s reputation and standards are maintained at all times.

The individual will work closely with Managers, IP’s and other team members to ensure cases progress and close in a timely manner.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The individual will report to the Corporate Manager and Assistant Manager. The individual must demonstrate excellent team spirit and ability to work as an effective member of the team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities will vary case to case but are likely to include:

· Liaising with directors to gather the relevant information in order to prepare necessary reports
· Communicating with creditors to address any queries
· Preparation of s98 reports, Administrators Proposals and Progress Reports in line with insolvency legislation and best practice
· Managing own workload to ensure statutory deadlines are met whilst ensuring that work is completed with accuracy and to a department standard
· Taking responsibility for ongoing compliance on own portfolio of cases
· Provide support and assistance to other members of the team
· Attending site visits as and when required
· Trading Administrations – financial and day to day operation responsibility
· Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with banks/lawyers/financial institutions


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of corporate insolvency and a working knowledge of Microsoft products and IPS. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate good report writing skills and be a confident communicator. On-going training will be provided in order to keep the department up to date with changes to legislation.

The Document Production Centre is a 24 hour department, Monday to Friday. The department consists of 23 Document Production Specialists, providing a service to Partners and Fee Earners in all offices.

One of the roles will cover the shift pattern 10:30pm - 6:00am Monday to Friday and the other 2:30pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday.

Duties:

•Inputting and amending large documents, working from precedents, copy typing new documents in the company house styles, transcription of digital dictation and scheduling of deeds
•Production of PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges, Excel spreadsheets and graphs
•Producing documents as per client’s instructions and layout, ensuring consistency and accuracy
•Co-ordinating all incoming work and Digital Dictation at specified times
•Working to specific deadlines
•Taking minor amendments over the telephone
•Liaising with clients when unable to meet deadlines
•Handling telephone enquiries in a professional and polite way, taking accurate messages and following up on agreed action
•Attending any relevant training sessions and keeping skills updated by working through practice documents when needed
•Dealing with internal and external clients with professionalism and consideration and taking a proactive approach to building relationships with clients and their secretaries on a professional basis

The person:

•Experience of amending and formatting large documents is essential
•Self-disciplined and a good time and task manager
•Good team worker and ability to help others at busy times
•Flexible and adaptable
•A high level of IT literacy in MS Office 2010, especially Word
