You will be based on the front of house, meeting and greeting students and visitors in to the premises. You will also be the first point of contact for student enquiries, answering questions on the phone and in person.
The ideal candidate will have come from a similar position and experience in the education sector would be a definite advantage. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
My client, a large manufacturing organisation based in South Yorkshire are currently seeking a Part Time Receptionist to receive and direct all visitors and callers to the business, in a professional and friendly manner. Maintain a busy switchboard efficiently. Admin support throughout the site as and when required.
The main duties are as follows:
* Ensure that all reception duties are dealt with in a positive and professional manner * Attending to all visitors and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed by visitors * Operate a multi-line switchboard * Dealing effectively with all internal and external callers and using the paging system as required * Receive and sign for mail/parcels received * Setting up of refreshments for visitors in reception * Ensuring that there are sufficient stocks at all times * Ensuring that the reception area is maintained in a clean, tidy fashion * Ownership of the boardroom, completion of live daily handover sheet * Completion of stationary order
General Administration duties:
* Maintain an up to date telephone list/movement sheet for the site and distribute accordingly * Provide ad-hoc typing/ administration service to the PA, Exec team, Category Board and Executive Board as and when required
Working hours are 12:45 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.
Successful applicants will have previous work experience working as a Receptionist, have strong communicational skills and a good administration skill set.

· Provide administrative support to the sales and customer service team as well as an optimal customer service to internal and external customers · Process and handle all exhibition and meeting requirements · Liaise with surgeons and venue organisers on the layout of exhibition stands, equipment and literature required. · Arrange for all equipment, stands to be delivered and collect to the venue within lead times. · Process all aspects of in-house courses for surgeons and nurses. · Send out registration forms and all course information · Liaise with sales reps for training equipment · Set up training room to set briefs · Arrange all travel and accommodation for reps and course participants
The person: Extremely organised Proficient on MS Office Good Administration skills with at least 12 months experience GCSE's Maths, English and Science grade C or above
