Junior Team Assistant – Dynamic Financial Services (City based)

Terrific long term career opportunity for a bright, articulate Junior Team Assistant/Administrator who is an extremely flexible team player and would like to join a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Seeking a Junior Team Assistant with a minimum of 6 months experience in administration, gained within a professional services company, this role will be to support the senior EA’s to ensure all administrative functions operate seamlessly. Ideally looking for an immediate starter but will wait for notice period for the right person!

The role would suit an individual looking to develop their career towards Executive Assistant.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephones and take accurate messages in a timely manner, provide information to callers;
  • Assisting with processing cash and corporate credit card expenses;
  • Distributing incoming post around the office;
  • Preparing outgoing mail for post and arranging couriers as appropriate;
  • Data entry of client business cards into client management database;
  • Printing, binding and distributing client presentations and credentials;
  • Providing holiday cover for receptionist or assisting her during busy periods;
  • Undertaking any other ad hoc requests from the Exec’s, Junior Team and PAs;
  • Working as part of a team to oversee the smooth running of the office, and assisting other staff where necessary.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Polished and professional with a warm and approachable nature;
  • Comfortable working in an environment that demands very high standards and often tight deadlines;
  • Excellent telephone manner and inter-personal skills;
  • Ability to communicate at all levels (colleagues, visitors, clients, building staff);
  • Discretion and professionalism, "can do" attitude and flexible approach;
  • Capable of using initiative;
  • Willing to get involved in daily office assistance and be a fast learner;
  • High standard of presentation and grooming;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Team spirit and sense of humour;
  • Resilient and calm personality;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office v10.
