A well known insurance company is looking for a Reception Manager to provide management of, and administrative support for the Reception Team. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Reception Team, ensuring that visitors and clients are received in an excellent and professional manner and that all reception and client areas operate in a high quality service at all times.

You:

Leading, monitoring, motivating and inspiring the reception team; providing guidance and support

To take full ownership of the reception and all associated areas, making sure that they are kept in the best possible order at all times, liaising with cleaners, facilities, security and other departments

Supervise the professional greeting of clients and visitors, to the highest standards

Monitor budget and produce weekly/monthly reporting where applicable

Manage the induction and training of receptionists and ensure that the required standards are consistently met

Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, checking future planned absences and planning cover as required

Manage room reservations ensuring that all enquiries are processed accurately

Ensure that records of the arrival of clients and the issue of passes are completed in a timely and professional manner

Ensure that notification of any person(s) being visited are informed of their arrival in a timely manner and kept informed as and when required

Regularly monitor team member's performance, giving appropriate feedback and set achievable objectives prior to giving annual review

Ensure external and internal post is delivered promptly across the office

Ensure all timesheets for temporary reception staff are reviewed and signed

Present a highly polished and professional appearance and ensure the uniform policy is adhered to at all times

Work closely with the facilities team to assist where needed

Your experience:

3 years + experience managing reception teams

3 years + experience working in a similar role as part of a Reception team in a corporate or hospitality environment
