This role will be working on a fast paced site working as a Business Travel Consultant.

All applicants must have GDS experience, if you don't have this, please do not apply. Ideally you will also need to also have worked on SABRE but if not, the GDS is essential.

Description

The role will be providing an end to end travel solution to business employees and dealing with daily on-site queries.

This will suit someone with Business Travel Experience.

Hours will be 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri with every other Friday off. This could potentially be a temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Reporting directly into the Global Travel Operations Manager this role will include:

  • Phones, staff attendance, volume of bookings, ensuring all travel within 48 hours is booked
  • Travel inbox; acknowledgement emails and allocation of new bookings to the team
  • Airline and individual queues to ensure all clear at the end of the day
  • Accuracy of system entries on Sabre to minimise errors and addressing any errors with staff
  • Assist team and provide guidance with any issues or queries arising in day to day work
  • Provide ad-hoc support with new travel bookings
  • Work with the team providing input to ongoing projects
  • Preparation for & attendance where necessary at supplier meetings
  • Collate team and client feedback on suppliers through the Complaint & Compliment process
  • Implementation of travel policy & management of policy exceptions
  • Ensure travel team are fully briefed with process or policy changes as required
  • Maintain efficient shared electronic filing system
  • Concur maintenance, weekly updates, profile management, error checking, new starter uploads, self-booking tool input

Profile

For success in this role you will require

  • GDS / SABRE experience - Essential
  • Minimum of 5 years Travel experience (ideally 2 or more in a supervisory level)
  • VA/BA level 1/2 (Air and ticketing)
  • Ability to work methodically and following strict processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and experience working with data
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Offer

  • Paying up to £150 per day
