A prestigious US Law Firm based in the City is looking to hire a new Business Development Assistant to work closely with members of the Business Development team in addition to the Partners and Attorney’s, to provide proactive Business Development and Marketing support to coordinate and executive Business Development plans and materials.  Responsibilities will include assisting in the production of pitch materials including research, co-ordination of collateral, assembling materials and writing copy that is tailored to the opportunity and client, keeping pitch database content up to date and run statistics on pitch win rate as required, supporting with the planning and delivery of events ranging from client seminars and networking events held in our offices to client dinners and other externally held events, assisting in producing, collating, updating and storing a library of relevant documents that can be available at any time including partner bios, deals sheets and other materials, working with the firms CRM system to deliver marketing initiatives, supporting the Communications Manager in preparing and delivering the monthly internal newsletter and provide support for other internal communications initiatives.  Other duties include supporting the BD team in the delivery of a range of campaigns and BD plans to raise the profile and win new business across all practice areas in London, building relationships with Partners and Attorneys as well as other delivery teams such as facilities, reception and graphic design to deliver marketing and BD initiatives, supporting the team in a variety of other initiatives including acting as liaison for external suppliers, coordinating research for speaking and sponsorship opportunities and providing administrative support on BD initiatives including processing expenses and diary management.  Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months Business Development/Marketing experience within a professional services organization, preferably a law firm, in addition to strong Microsoft Word & PowerPoint experience, strong written, communication and organisational skills.
