We’ve just taken on an exciting opportunity for an Investment Committee Secretary to join one of our favourite clients, a wonderful alternative investment firm focussed only on investing in businesses within the poorest area of Africa and South Asia which will create sustainability and improve the lives of those living there.
THE ROLE
This is a busy role where you will report into the CIO and team, the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to; managing the weekly Investment Committee process and the Exceptional Risk committee process calendar, which will entail coordinating schedules of the Committee members, distributing papers, taking the minutes and putting together reports. This is a high level role which will require you to liaise with senior stakeholders of the firm, work alongside the deal teams and also the Non – Exec Directors. You will also work closely with the CIOs PA and at times will provide cover during absence or sickness.

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience working within alternative investment or professional services in a similar role. Your organisational skills will be second to none and you will be the type of person who enjoys making the ‘impossible ‘ happen and be a real problem solver. It would be advantageous to have proven experience supporting at C-Suite level or Board level. This is a very visible role for both internal and external stakeholders so you should be the type of candidate who thrives in this type of senior level position.
