Business Cube have Serviced Offices in and around the City. We acquire either an entire building, or floors within a building, and refurbish the spaces, to ensure each office has sufficient facilities in order for a business to operate. This might include internet, power, air conditioning/ heating services, furniture, kitchenettes etc. Each space is then sublet to individual companies where we also provide daily operational services to ensure the building is fully functional.

Each Centre has a manned reception between the hours of 8.30am – 5.30pm to ensure we deliver a strong customer and client service in terms of communication and assistance with any daily requests.

Job Description
The receptionist will help to launch our brand-new Business Centre in EC3 by welcoming in any new clients. The building comprises of 8 self-contained floors, all will be sold separately to individual clients. The role is to ensure the management and smooth running of the reception area and respond to any requests from our new clients in terms of information sharing within the locality, call answering, meeting and greeting clients, collecting post etc.See below details for responsibilities and job spec requirements.

Receptionist Responsibilities
• Greet tenants daily upon arrival
• Create close trusting working relationship with each new client
• Welcome all visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office/floor
• Answer phone calls for a number of different companies across all Business Centres, transfer or take messages accordingly
• Work as part of a team of receptionists in other Business Cube buildings, communicating effectively about your centre and ensuring incoming calls are answered and handled
• Ensure that the reception area is kept neat and tidy and manned at all times
• Maintain building security by controlling access and following the correct procedures with the sign-in system
• Receive and organise incoming post/deliveries
• Send outgoing post for clients
• Assist with the upkeep of the building by performing regular checks and addressing any issues in a timely manner
• Send regular updates and information about the building to all tenants
• Reporting to Operations with any building issues or maintenance requests
• Covering other Business Centres within the portfolio in case of sickness or annual leave
• Involved in monthly Team Meetings out of office hours

Candidate Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Operative or a similar customer service position
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• IT proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Time management skills and punctuality essential
• Multi-tasking and organisational skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Minimum 5 GCSEs A*- C
• As the first point of contact for clients and their visitors it is imperative to make a good impression, therefore a friendly and upbeat disposition is essential at all times
