Senior Accountant

Our client, a unique consultancy firm are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their relaxed, fun and supportive team based near the City. You will be responsible for but not restricted to:

• Manage the accounts preparation process for c.40 clients and ensuring that they are          submitted on time (liaising with clients to obtain accounting information, preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns into final preparation format, communicating with clients to resolve any accounting queries)
•  Preparing and managing the personal tax returns for an additional c.40 clients and ensuring they are submitted on time (liaising with clients to obtain accounting information, preparing accounts into final preparation format, communicating with clients to resolve any accounting queries)
•  Preparing statutory accounts for companies and sole traders, partnerships accounts (LLP), management accounts for a selection of clients (c.5) and service charge accounts for 5 properties
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Setting up automated prompts within Xero for filing deadlines

The client is looking for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified and has a minimum of 2 years’ experience of a similar role and with strong Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel.
