Part-Time Marketing Assistant [9 Months FTC]
City of London
£23,000 pro rata + Excellent Bens
Explore the exciting field of Marketing and enhance your creative flair working with a dynamic, fun bunch of professionals where your administrative skills will be greatly valued. This is a part-time role of 2-3 days per week working on a 9 months fixed term contract for a highly prestigious City law firm. You will play an integral part of the Marketing team working on Brand Management, Communications, Events and Business Marketing Analysis and act as the lynchpin for all administrative functions. The ideal administrative assistant will be of graduate calibre, demonstrate confident communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise busy workloads and work well to tight deadlines. Legal experience is not a pre-requisite, although experience gained in a professional services environment (particularly financial services) will be advantageous to your application.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating the Marketing CRM database
- Gathering, compiling and analysing data for the Marketing team
- Regular communication with the team and external stakeholders, providing updates including board reports
- Attend regular meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes, actioning logs and updates
- Presenting ideas and information to the team on findings gathered from research
- Producing PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
- General administrative support including pitch documents and tender proposals
Personal Competencies:
The Marketing Assistant will need to be able to demonstrate excellent office administration, prioritisation and coordination skills, display articulate communication skills and strong attention to detail with previous administrative experience gained in either the legal or professional services arena. Good numeracy skills are also required as you will be expected to interpret financial data and produce reports. You will also have:
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Confident ability to take on a wide-range of new tasks, activities and projects with minimal supervision
- Graduate or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A proactive attitude and strong team playing abilities
