What would I be doing day to day?

Who am I supporting: This role is supporting a warm, approachable and down-to-earth and experienced Head of HR who works in a totally collaborative and open, non-hierarchical way. 

Key duties: The Human Resources Advisor provides support to the Head of HR, in areas which includes recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, selection, orientation and employee relations. This is a broad generalist role in a team of 2 so the ideal candidate will be prepared to take a ‘hands on’ approach and may need to visit the other offices from time to time. Good communication, a proactive approach and teamwork are essential in this busy department.

What makes this position great? The role is Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm and is very likely to go permanent at the end of the contract as the HR team is growing. You couldn’t work with a more knowledgeable and approachable Head of HR.

What is the company looking for?

Background and experience: 2-3 years of broad HR Generalist experience in an administrative capacity. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook                       

Qualifications: Part or fully CIPD qualified

Availability: Notice period not a problem – the role is to start at the end of March
