The role of Office Manager based in the City of Westminster, Marylebone, is to be the first point of contact for meeting and greeting visitors in person as well as support management team with office ad hoc duties
Client Details
The client is a market leading British luxury fashion retailer based in the City of Westminster looking for an Office Manager.
They are a high profile client who have been operational for nearly a century, specialising in luxury fashion and comfort.
Description
The main duties of the Office Manager include (but are not limited to);
- To ensure that the office and show room is always presented to it's highest standard
- Support management team members with ad hoc duties including expense management, visitor co-ordination and meeting preparation
- First point of contact for meeting and greeting visitors in person, dealing with enquiries and correspondence in a friendly, polite manner
- Plan in-house and off-site activities as required, such as meetings, parties, celebrations and conferences
- Order stationery and equipment for the office and canteen, managing any issues and arranging repairs as necessary, handling mail distribution
- Contribute to general ad-hoc administrative duties - posting, typing, scanning, printing, filing etc
Profile
The successful candidate for this role would have/be the following
- Will be a self-driven, confident individual with lots of initiative
- Proven experience as an office assistant/manager, PA/secretary, or administrative assistant
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan, multi-task, prioritise workload and change schedules at short notice
- Highly organised, approachable and flexible
- Be a proactive team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook), database and internet usage
- Comes from a Fashion or Creative background
