My client, an exciting creative Events company based in west London, is looking for a brilliant Facilities Assistant to join their growing team! This role is the linchpin of the agency’s operations, ensuring the office runs smoothly and everyone has what they need. Based in beautiful offices, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with facilities experience to work in a cool and creative company alongside like-minded creatives, where you will be valued and can grow!
Day to day, your role will involve the smooth running of the facilities and despatch department including staying on top of the mail room, ordering stationery, maintenance management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and everyone has what they need to do their jobs effectively. You will take care of the office aesthetics, ensuring the agency looks the part at all times and complies with health and safety regulations. You will build strong relationships with your team, contractors and suppliers, and will also provide Reception cover when needed, so should be comfortable acting as the face of the agency and be a natural relationship builder. This is a very active role in which no two days will be the same, and in return will allow someone to grow and develop in a fun, very likeable team!
To be considered for this role, you will be a bright and outgoing person with a positive attitude, patience and tact. You will have a background in facilities, despatch and/ or Reception from within a creative background and a willingness to learn and really get stuck in! This role requires someone who is happy to roll up your sleeves and move boxes and set up meeting rooms if necessary, as well as strong customer service and a proactive, wiling nature.
