Business Development For Luxury home ware/Interior company

We have a brilliant opportunity to work within a small but highly fashionable interior and design retail company. We need a  dynamic and motivated person preferably with some legal experience (experience/knowledge of contractual principles), strong negotiating skills, budget and forecasting experience and an ability to drive growth in this exciting online retail and license homeware business.

We want a team player with exceptional people skills that is willing to integrate and collaborate with a very small and busy team. A self-starter with bags of initiative and passion that can solve problems and drive the business forwards.

Retail experience is a must

Job responsibilities will include:

• Seeking, negotiating and delivering new opportunities to drive business both in the license and online retail sides of the business.
• Management of projects which will include research, budgeting and forecasting, set-up and management through to completion/implementation. Ensuring that projects are profitable and in the best interests of the business. EG. Set up of a retail space from end to end.
• Contributing to and driving the company’s exciting growth & business plan.
• Management of legal contracts with partners and service providers for both the business and the Director personally. Other adhoc support for the Director will be required.
• Attend and contribute to cashflow meetings, highlighting project impacts and forecasts
• Regular review and negotiation of supplier and business terms.
• Spearheading efficiencies
• Overseeing basic legal requirements of the online site eg. Terms & Conditions wording
