A leading market research and marketing group in central London are looking for an Executive Assistant to support their very inspirational Group CEO. The consultancy work with companies and individuals to give them a deep understanding of their markets, audiences and brands through consumer, corporate, political and reputation research. They are an ambitious company and are a team of united and talented people working to clear values and an exciting business plan.

The EA is responsible for providing support to the Group CEO across a range of projects including business operations, legal compliance and board secretariat for the group company. You will work closely with the CEO and help him keep on top of his growing workload including diary management, chasing up emails and progress checking.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diary management for activities including Board meetings, internal and external meetings, client meetings and event attendance
  • Providing and effective and efficient secretariat function to the group board & Executive Committees.  This will include setting up board meetings, drafting agendas, ensuring papers sent in advance, taking detailed minutes, following up to ensure all actins completed.
  • Support the CEO in all aspects of his role enabling him to prioritise and manage his workload – writing reports for him and creating presentations
  • Support the CEO in his role as Company Secretary, ensuring all company records are maintained including submitting statements to Companies House.
  • Organise the research team bi-annual away day & group socials
  • Arrange bi-annual socials

Skills & Experience Required

  • A degree level qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Good prioritisation skills with an aptitude for working on a number of projects at once while maintaining accuracy and delivering to agreed timelines
  • Excellent senior stakeholder communications
  • Good and highly responsive project management skills
  • An understanding and appreciation of the importance of confidentiality and discretion on all board matters
  • Previous EA experience at CEO / Board level
