PA to Managing Director - Events Company

My client, a large, very exciting leader in the creative events industry, is looking for an outstanding PA to support the Managing Director in their ever-expanding team! Based in the heart of Central London, this is an amazing opportunity to join a diverse, collaborative company in which you will be able to grow. This role involves supporting the Managing Director, a very likeable and approachable man who is looking to build a real partnership with his PA. This exec is hugely respectful of his PA’s time and understands how to use a support function effectively. He is also extremely involved in all aspects of the business and likes to give people time, so he really needs a strong but very likeable gatekeeper to protect his time. This is very much a partnership style role in which you can get very involved. Day to day, you will handle all traditional duties including diary, travel and meeting management and will oversee all emails so must be able to manage-up and ensure he is where he needs to be and when, with everything he needs. You will use foresight and initiative to ensure he is prioritising effectively and business objectives can be met on time. This is a really nice role for someone looking to build an amazing relationship and add real value to a creative business.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced PA (at least 4 years) from within an agency, ideally Advertising, Media or similar. You will be empathetic, curious, friendly and approachable with high EQ but also able to push back and manage time effectively; a capable and charming gatekeeper is a must! The ideal person will be confident with strong people skills and humility as well as outside interests relevant to the industry e.g. photography, arts, design etc.
