A leading retailer requires an experienced Allocator to join their growing International team in central London, in a 6 month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing stores' and distribution centre's stock levels and replenishment levels
  • Working closely with suppliers, stores and distribution centres, liaising regularly to manage stock availability and fulfilment
  • Creating and calculating purchase orders, providing suppliers with accurate forecasts for stores and DC's
  • Analysing performance of the ranges and ensuring month end targets, availability and fulfilment targets are met; whilst also providing support with any stock problems or price overrides.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a busy head office is essential, ideally in a merchandising administration or allocation focused role
  • Strong analytical ability to run reports and analyse and interpret data to identifying trends
  • Excellent Excel skills including the use of Pivot Tables & V-Lookups
  • Ability to work under pressure and take the initiative
  • Engaging communication style is a must, as well as strong influencing skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Keen eye for detail
