A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Administrator ( Credit controller) to join a fast paced and dynamic company that focusses on staffing that within the promotional, retail and corporate sectors.

This role will allows the successful candidate to take full ownership of credit control and the sales ledger and responsibilities will include:

  • To credit check new clients and set credit terms accordingly, referring to the Financial Controller when appropriate.
  • To ensure invoices are sent to clients promptly by managing and monitoring the billing process.
  • To ensure outstanding debts are collected promptly and consistently with a proactive approach.
  • To reduce and maintain DSO to agreed targets.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the company’s Sales Ledger in the company’s accounting system to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with all colleagues and support the finance function in completing other tasks when required.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate the below key attributes:

  • Self-motivated - takes pride in reducing debts and maintaining an accurate Sales Ledger.
  • Team player - consults and advises other members of the team where appropriate for input into the Sales Ledger and Credit Control function.
  • Commitment to accuracy. 
  • Excellent communicator, proactive and engaging.  Always follows up situations and adopts a consistent approach.
  • Persistent attitude - doesn’t give up on situations where they are being deferred or delayed by others
