Are you looking for a 12 month maternity cover contract, working for a small and very successful Asset Management firm in the Belgravia / Victoria area? Due to the current PA / Office Manager going on maternity leave there is an opening for a bright and pro-active Office Manager to come on board for 12 months. 

The successful candidate will assume immediate responsibility for:

  • Basic PA functions – answering telephones, arranging meetings, typing (limited), travel, booking couriers, taxis etc.
  • Team diaries – maintain and manage team diaries, meeting room, holiday and sickness records
  • Office management – fully responsible for the office environment.  Manage and monitor service providers, purchase stationary and other consumables
  • IT – manage and monitor external IT & Telecoms service providers
  • Filing - organise and maintain team filing.  Manage external archiving
  • Vendor payments – ensuring vendors are paid and then liaise with external management accountants to ensure all payments are recorded
  • Point of contact for Corporate Secretarial – organising board meetings and distributing documentation
  • This is a full time role –8.30am to 5.30pm.

This is a comfortably busy role with some really busy periods and would suit an intelligent, down to earth and self-motivated Office Manager / PA who is happy to muck in and who is comfortable working in a small team environment within an often pressurised office.
