Graduate Sales Support - Equity Brokers - City

Our client, an established Equity Brokers based in the heart of the City, are looking for a Graduate who has gained Sales Support Experience within Financial Services and is looking for a role which will offer a career path into Client Relationship Management. 

The Role
 Liaising with the Investor Relations and Research teams to ensure the Sales team have all the right information to attend roadshows and other marketing events
 Field phone calls and provide cover for the Sales desk when the team is in meetings
 Diary management
 Attend sales briefings and produce briefing notes when required
 Assist in the coordination of sales activities, placings, secondary market funding and IPO’s
 Building new relationships with prospective institutions and private client fund managers
 Assigning new contacts to the team and monitoring activity
 Update and maintain the CRM
 Organise travel
 Print and bind presentations
 Ad-hoc project work

The Person
 Degree qualification
 work experience gained in Financial Services 
 Proven understanding of institutional and corporate client types (preferred)
 Roadshow exposure (preferred)
 Fast learner with a flexible attitude
 Strong communication skills
 Self-starter / proactive
