Information Officer - Immediate start - London Transport Authority - based in Southwark - night shifts


Your new company

London's largest transport agency is looking for dynamic customer service focused individual to join their Traffic Control Operations Centre based at Southwark. This role is with an immediate start, is for 6 months in duration and will be working on a night shift pattern.

Your new role

Working in the operations team, you will be responsible for analysing all bus passenger affecting incidents, assessing the severity and impact of the incident. You will then communicate the appropriate messages and course of action to passengers and stakeholders, ensuring all information issued is relevant, timely, comprehensive and factual.

This role will be working on a night shift patter, including weekends - one week you will be working 4 nights and the next week 3 nights working across 7 days. The working hours during the week will be 9:30pm - 6.30am and on the weekend 7:00pm - 7:00am, candidates must be able to work these hours.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to analyse complex information
• Excellent IT skills
• Highly competent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Friendly persona, with the ability to offer a first class service to all passengers
