Financial Controller and Compliance Officer - French speaking

Your main responsibilities will include:

Portfolio accounting and monitoring:

• Manage operations and day-to-day administration for fund structures in the UK and Luxembourg

• Portfolio accounting, including control of data in the portfolio performance dashboard

• Coordination of investment closing activities including structuring and review of legal documentation

• Management information, including periodic executive and board reporting and analysis of portfolio performance, dashboards

• Documenting the group’s key assumption around portfolio valuation for review by external auditors

• Compile and format financial performance for recurring LP reporting

• Working closely with off shore administrators

Advisory company finances and HR:

• Review and analysis of Monthly management accounts of UK Advisory firm with support from external accounting firm

• Manage payroll and cash flow forecast

• Supervise all tax filings with support from external tax advisors

Compliance and Regulatory reporting:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements including Compliance officer (CF10) and/or Money Laundering Officer (CF11) role

• Prepare accurate and timely FCA regulatory reporting with UK and Luxembourg regulators (FCA and CSSF)

Family office:

• Support the Head of Family Office with designing and structuring

• Opportunity to get involved in Family Office matters including private equity investments as well as real estate asset management and planning

The ideal candidate:

• Enthusiastic and eager to improve the infrastructure of the business

• Familiar with different fund structures

• Minimum 3 years post qualified experience

• Degree from top-ranking Universities

• Fantastic analytical skills

• Experience in Venture capital/Private Equity environment

• Excellent Excel skills

• Conversational French required

• Pro-active and entrepreneurial spirit, able to come up with creative solutions

• Meticulous attention to detail and a good sense of humour
