A prestigious financial association based in the City is hiring an event coordinator to provide maternity cover within the conferences and membership team. Managing a substantial programme of your own assigned conferences, from start to finish, this would suit a hardworking and dedicated individual with a passion for events and excellent attention detail.

 

Key responsibilities

Conferences

  • Onsite management of events
  • Delegate liaison
  • Process delegate registrations
  • Event advertising and marketing
  • Produce event collateral
  • Venue sourcing and relationship management
  • Supplier sourcing and relationship management
  • Database management and other post-event admin
  • Sponsor and exhibitor recruitment and management
  • Periodic management of the conference enquiries ‘inbox’

Membership

  • Liaison with existing members
  • Mailing membership materials as required
  • Conducting research into expanding membership

 

Requirements:

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience using a database, CRM or event planning software desirable
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills
