A leading property developer in central London is looking for an Learning & Development Administrator to provide administration support for the smooth running of all learning and development activities within the human resources team. This is a 6 month contract with a strong possibility of going permanent. Must be able to start immediately.

This is developmental role with lots of ownership. Looking for someone pro-active that can take ownership of projects and understand the implications of their actions. Must be able to think outside of the box and have an interest in Learning and development/HR. L & D experience is not essential but strong administration and project skills are desirable.

The role involves providing a responsive, proactive service to the business, consultants and suppliers on all learning and development administration matters.

Key duties:

 

  • First point of contact for all L&D enquiries
  • Monitor/ filter the team inbox
  • Responding to urgent requests within a timely manner, drawing attention to urgent requests
  • Administration of internal courses, co-ordinating
  •  the L & D training calendar, administering professional education requests, liaising with external suppliers, inviting delegates, preparing course materials, rebranding materials, booking rooms,
  • Booking delegates on external and professional education courses
  • Health and Safety course administration
  • Recording information onto Excel and analysing the data and making recommendations
  • Running reports in Access and exporting to Excel
  • Analysing, extracting and manipulating data
  • Managing and taking ownership of the resources library
  • Maintain the purchase order system and process invoices on time
  • Create/maintain Excel spread sheets as appropriate
  • Involvement in development of new L&D reporting
  • Assist all LD Training Events
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for the Human Resources Administration team

Key qualifications and experience

  • Experience of administration duties
  • Projects, events or L & D experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to judge priorities and take initiative when required
  • Interest in Learning & Development desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills and structured work discipline
  • Good interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to a range of new systems and procedures
  • L&D administration support experience is desirable but not essential
  • Graduate or equivalent experience
