Insolvency Administrator - Fantastic opportunity! - £25k Holborn

9 - 5.30pm

My client, a fantastic financial services firm based in the West End, are currently looking for an Insolvency Administrator to join their dynamic team!

The role is working in a team of 4 people, including a Senior Manager and three Administrators on a varied caseload of corporate and personal insolvency.

  • Administration, management and review of both corporate and personal insolvency cases from 'cradle to grave'
  • Day-to-day letter, email and telephone correspondence with clients, agents, creditors, shareholders, lawyers, bankrupts, etc. in respect of insolvency processes
  • Internal correspondence with team, managers, partners and cashiers in respect of general case progression
  • Correspondence with banks, debtors, directors, etc. in respect of asset realisation
  • Assisting with adjudication and agreement of creditor claims
  • Maintenance of organised electronic files and folders for each case
  • Assisting Directors/Shareholders with signing of statutory documents (pre- and post-Liquidation/Administration documents, Declaration of Solvency, etc.)
  • Assisting/undertaking investigatory work as part of statutory reporting compliances
  • Drafting and circularising documents to send to creditors, shareholders, Companies House, Courts Advertising, HMRC, etc. for pre- and post-insolvency periods
  • Liaising with and making distributions to shareholders and dividends to creditors
  • Completing statutory reports to directors, employees and creditors, to include Directors' Reports and Annual Progress Reports
  • Mentoring and training Junior Insolvency Administrators within the team, teaching them of basic insolvency processes and how to be proficient in their role
  • Completing or assisting in the completion and filing of tax returns for Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, etc.
  • Undertaking case and bond reviews on a quarterly basis
  • Keeping up to date with the latest insolvency news and legislation
  • Providing time cost analysis, estimated outcome statements, estimated payment in full schedules, etc
  • Raising disbursement invoices and assisting with the closure of cases.
