Our client a Technology Company based in the City of London is looking for a Receptionist/Administrator to start ASAP. This is a two month temporary position until Mid September.

The main duties are:

  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Answering the switchboard
  • Organising hospitality (refreshments, breakfast and lunch catering) for in-house meetings and events
  • Management of corporate travel
  • Responsible for ensuring security access cards are managed and that records are maintained and regularly audited
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining office and kitchen supplies
  • Tidy and maintain the kitchen area, including ensuring coffee machine is well maintained.
  • Ensure the office environment is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Assisting with Corporate Events and Hospitality planning and execution
  • Providing administration support including printing and binding
  • Ad hoc support to line manager and BGST management and executive
  • Regular liaison with Building Management / Ground Floor Reception and Security

The successful candidate will have proven reception and administration experience gained from working in a client-facing environment. You need to have strong communication skills both spoken and written, ability to build and maintain positive professional relations, be positive, proactive, practical, hands on and highly customer focussed. You need to be able to use your own initiative, be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast moving organisation, committed to delivering to tight deadlines and have good knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
