Working within the HR department, you will have ample opportunity to get involved in all aspects of HR, but some of your more particular responsibilities will be;

  • recruitment and selection, including pre-employment checks,  
  • managing and promoting the appraisal process,
  • sourcing and arranging training courses,
  • administering the DBS checks,
  • attend committee meetings and take minutes,
  • fielding queries from a wide range of employees.

You will also assist the Director of HR with some of their appointments and manage the employees’ database.  They are a small, close knit team who all work extremely well with each other and help with whatever needs to be done.   To be successful in this role, you will have current HR admin experience and be looking to develop that further into HR management, have excellent organisation and IT skills, as well as superlative written and oral communication abilities.   This is a great chance to develop your career in HR in an interesting environment where you will also be helping people in the wider community.
