Team/Research Assistant – Private Bank – Heart of City
City of London
£30K - £33K
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to support a leading team within a well-established Private Bank based in the City. Some events exposure would be an bonus as would financial services experience.
You will be supporting a very busy team who are looking for someone to competently support them with duties such as below:
Your responsibilities:
- General administrative duties: taking calls; relaying client messages accurately; processing expenses; updating team calendars and absence management system; arranging conference calls; booking restaurants/taxis
- Assisting Roadshow Coordinators with client trips, including travel bookings and all other logistics to ensure the smooth running of client facing events
- Supporting the Head of Research: diary management; processing expenses; travel booking; ad hoc requests
- Using online database to retrieve client related documentation; updating client details; printing/binding documentation as necessary
- Managing sales briefings: internal and external organisation
- Helping with general meeting arrangements: room bookings; room set-ups; lunch set-ups
- Any other ad hoc request from the team
Your profile:
- Proficient user of Outlook and other standard Office programmes (XL/Word/ PowerPoint)
- Adapts to the team and contributes to a collegiate approach to delivering high quality support
- Able to work both independently and as part of the whole team.
- Relates well to people at all levels, interacting with external clients and internal staff members with high levels of professionalism
- Effective planning and project management skills to take account of multiple priorities
- Manages time effectively
- Works productively in a high pressure environment
- Educational qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in English language and numeracy skills
- Flexibility in outlook; willing to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm
- Seeks opportunities to take the initiative and provide proactive support to the team
