Finance Assistant - Artist Management

We are looking for a talented finance assistant to work within a creative office that has a small family feel to it. This is an extremely cool place to be and the CFO is a down to earth, genuine individual. To succeed in this role you must be highly organised and have all the relevant experience listed below. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team who work from amazing offices in East London.

Responsibilities 

• Reporting to the CFO, we are seeking a highly organized and confident finance assistant who understands royalties and tour budgeting.
• The experienced candidate will be responsible for day to day bookkeeping and will be working very closely with the CFO on a range of tasks.
• This role would suit a candidate that enjoys the demands of working in a fast paced and often demanding environment and has an exceptional attention to detail.
• Day to Day Bookkeeping using Sage
• Raise sales invoices

• Chasing Debtors
• Maintain Purchase Ledger
• Issue recharges
• Maintain Petty Cash
• Payment Approvals
• Submitting Set lists for all artists post shows
• Update Track listings / registrations
• Tracking Royalty statements
• Tracking costs according to Tour Budgets.

Candidates must have/be

• 4 years + as a finance assistant
• Experience in a creative office – entertainment or music industry preferred
• Ability to prioritize work load and cope with often changing tasks
• Proficient in Sage & Microsoft office suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to think on the spot and execute tasks with attention to detail
• Understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
