THE COMPANY:
My Client an international technology company based in the Heart of the City are looking for a graduate administrator to join their company.


Yes, there are calendars to be managed, travel to book, meeting rooms to set up and coffee to make, but in a way that is all incidental. It's the background noise to a really interesting job


The team and clients work around the world, particularly in the USA.


You will get the opportunity to travel to trade fairs in the UK and US and will be helping organise every element of the stand, including banner designs


Every day, a new challenge will come up: You might need to review an NDA, research and put together a presentation for our CTO to give, or just mark up a contract from someone's appalling handwriting


We want to run more events, and that needs detailed organisational skills


Marketing is a real pre-requisite: We are terrible at keeping our blog and Twitter up-to-date and writing and issuing newsletters - you need to be great at this


We might even ask you to test some software from time to time


In terms of the "PA" side of role, mainly you are working for our CEO and CTO, while assisting the Global Head of Sales as well


This is not the job for everybody: In fact we've found it's not the job for anybody so far. We are great to work for if you can do the job, but probably not if you can't

You are bright and have a great sense of humour


You won't take any nonsense from anyone, but you are a real team player


You love technology (seriously, love it)


You use and are comfortable with social media


You have an excellent telephone manner


Almost certainly, you are a graduate


You do not see yourself as an Executive or Administrative Assistant


You treat the company's money like your own


You want to grow a job into a career


You have booked travel for yourself and others, and know how to get the best deal


So, you'll know what an Express Deal is on Priceline


You are very comfortable with standard Office tools like Outlook, Word and PowerPoint


You are super-passionate about what you do (because we are)


You have worked for a start-up, or have always wanted to do so


It's a great place to work, with a really friendly team, although if you want strict 9 to 5, please don't apply.


This role is based in London. The team is about 20 at the moment, although that is changing almost daily


A second language always comes in handy
