Trainee Accountant

My client, one of the most rapidly growing names in the property sector, is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their busy Finance team.

The Trainee Accountant will work closely alongside the Financial Controller, with responsibilities including:

*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Preparation of Partner transactions summaries
*Accounts reconciliations, to include fixed assets, inter-company accounts and client
accounts
*Preparation of group VAT returns and other statutory lodgements
*Processing of journal entries
*Preparation of budget holder analysis on a monthly basis
*Maintaining the internal purchase order procedure
*Assisting with year-end audit
*Assisting with the accounting for the organisation's European entities
*Ad hoc support to the Management Accountant as required

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who hold, or is studying towards, a professional accounting qualification, and seeking to establish their career within a successful and supportive working environment.

You will need to process a good level of understanding of accounting, Advanced Excel skills to include lookups and pivot tables, as well as excellent attention to detail, the ability to balance a varied workload to meet deadlines, and excellent interpersonal skills.
