A prestigious International Law Firm is looking to hire a new IT Network and Security Analyst for the London Office, who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all networking and firewall-based technologies, ensuring all devices are configured and operating in line with the industry best practice.  Responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting key systems and services including the firm’s Cisco Network and Firewalls, ensuring that all end user workstations are kept up to date with AV and Windows patches and run regular reports to determine any shortfall, ensuring appropriate security controls are deployed and maintained across the firm’s systems and processes in line with good practice, assist with the global selection of end-user hardware solutions and creation of standard builds, security solutions, group policy and remote device management, manage and configure external access solutions offered by the firm in conjunction with three parties, manage and configure internal load balancing devices for clustered services such as the finance systems, process all incidents in a timely manner.  Other duties include taking ownership of security incidents, assess upgrades and alternative technologies for the firm’s software, assist with advertising and ensuring that the firm’s IT security policy is unknown, remain abreast of Operational technologies, systems and services and provide thought leadership in designated technology areas, produce, update and maintain system documentation for the firm’s applications and systems and provide handover to colleagues throughout, provide out-of-hours on-call cover when required.  Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an IT Networking & Security role, experience of working in a ITIL operational process environment having worked within an ISO 27001 accredited environment or equivalent. Candidate must have well developed troubleshooting skills and fantastic interpersonal skills.
