An International Christian charity are looking for a team assistant to support 2 senior leaders in the team. This is a relaxed, welcoming and friendly office with a very supportive team. They are based in their Elephant and Castle office. This role will require responsibility, ability to work at a fast pace and there is room for progression. They are looking for someone with around 1 plus years’ experience and a candidate who can respect and share the Christian Ethos.
Key responsibilities:
Meet and greet visitors with discretion, warmth and maturity
Management of the diary including booking appointments, arranging meetings and, where necessary, confirming arrangements in writing
Ensure manager is fully prepared for all meetings
Processing of confidential correspondence either as directed or on own initiative
Deal with incoming correspondence and emails, responding on behalf of the manager as required. In the absence of the manager, ensure emails and enquiries are dealt with appropriately to avoid any unnecessary delays
Telephone response/call handling/message taking
Assistance with preparation of agendas for meetings
Attend meetings and take minutes to a high standard
Assistance with event and specialling preparation as directed
Production of briefings, reports, letters and presentations
Maintain records and databases as directed
Carry out other administrative functions as directed
Expense management/processing of invoices
Booking of venues and refreshments for meetings
Booking of travel and accommodation
Typing
Scanning
Photocopying
Filing/Archiving
Management of visitors
Other duties as directed
Undertake training as deemed necessary.
