A start-up consumer goods company are launching a new range of high quality, ‘aspirational yet attainable’ products, aimed initially at more affluent mums and their babies. All products are designed by mums for mums and sold online directly to the consumer, either via subscription or one-off purchases. The company is soft-launching in the UK in August, with a full launch in October / November and a planned European launch for 2018. Founded by a team of successful business people and entrepreneurs, with solid investment and all senior creative, product, operational roles in place, the company is now looking to hire this key position to run the Customer Support function of the business – initially providing the service yourself, you will then build and manage a wider team.
Hours: 9am – 6pm, Mon to Fri
Location: Your own home
HQ is currently in Kew but will be relocating into London later this year
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Applicants will need to provide flexibility re their starting salary while the company is in start-up mode – however this will be rebalanced as the company grows

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Attract, retain and grow potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
- Open customer accounts by recording account information
- Maintain customer records by updating account information
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
- Build and manage the Customer Service team
- Contribute directly to social media posts in relation to customer matters and marketing
