Our client, a highly regarded name within the commercial property and construction sector, are seeking a Business Development Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working alongside the Client Relationship Manager and wider Business Development to deliver the firm's client management programme, the Business Development Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Bid Coordinator with bids, tenders and PPQ requests, as well ensuring that sales opportunity and tracker documents are maintained, and assisting with the maintenance of the firm's intranet.
Other responsibilities of the Business Development Assistant will include undertaking research, managing the department's enquiries inbox, note taking at team meetings, and undertaking any ad hoc tasks required to achieve the delivery of the Business Development plan.
The successful candidate will possess at least 12 months' experience within Business Development, working for a firm within the Professional Services sector.
A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business Development, Marketing, or similar would be preferred.
To thrive in this role, you will require an interest in the property market, an interest and awareness in the latest marketing trends and initiatives, as well as excellent organisational ability, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to build a strong working rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
