A leading global financial and corporate PR/communications consultancy advising on corporate reputation, M&A and strategic communications. There are currently 18 employees, they are a fast growing company and have extremely high profile blue chip clients. The office views are stunning and the people work as a close-knit team. The environment is vibrant and energetic. Experienced translator from French to English is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Managing payroll changes such as new staff members, health insurance, pensions, expenses
- Answering calls to the switchboard and transferring to the team
- French to English translation of articles and press releases
- Paying and sending out monthly and quarterly invoices
- Managing press research and article collation
- Journalist list creation
- Assisting in the creation of new business pitches and presentations using PowerPoint to a high level, then printing and binding them
- Sending out press releases via Regulatory News Service and other means on behalf of clients
- Supporting the team with corporate events such as Ascot, Chelsea Flower Show, shooting, cricket and rugby
- Ad hoc support to the various team members including meeting management and occasional travel
Requirements:
- English mother-tongue with fluent French
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, advanced in PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Energy and strong work ethic, a keen team player and professional attitude
- Previous experience in PR or the financial sector preferred but not essential
