A financial technology and services start up founded together with a leading US private equity firm. Based in locations across London this company has a globally unique business model, is growing rapidly and is already profitable.
The company has a brilliant office culture and they are looking for someone who is outgoing but also knows when to put their head down.
The client is paying up to £50,000 per annum depending on expeirence and has excellent benefirts. The working hours are 9am - 6pm.
Role Summary
A highly talented and driven Executive Assistant is required to leverage the capacity of the CEO and senior executives in the London office. As cover for one of the CEOs direct reports and also key support other Senior Executives, he/she will play a pivotal role in the development of business growth. The successful candidate will be a highly credible executive assistant with a clear and demonstrable track record of achievement and support at a high level.
This appointment presents a ground floor opportunity for a talented executive assistant to work with a high performing team in an exciting venture.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO and other Senior Executive team to help them leverage their individual strengths
- Ability to communicate clearly and take minutes and develop action lists and ensuring key actions are tracked and followed up
- Diary management typically with shareholders, directors, existing and potential clients, new hires and key suppliers
- Arranging board and committee meetings including reminders for the participants along with monthly coordination and distribution of electronic packs to Board & Committee members
- Ability to work to a timetable that is flexible to business imperatives - for example occasional late evenings counterbalanced by other flexible hours
- Absorb work from others when above responsibilities are complete e.g. urgent binding, office supply management, holiday cover

Mandatory experience and qualifications
- Experience of supporting CEO level and senior executives
- Impeccable written skills, spelling and grammar
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of individuals
- MS Office skills:
- Word - at least intermediate level and self-motivated to improve their skills in functions with which they are less familiar.
- PowerPoint - at least intermediate level although an eye for detail and consistency, plus a desire to deliver to a high standard, are more important than prior technical expertise.
- Excel - basic familiarity would be useful as they will need to be able to update spreadsheets, insert/format/delete columns/rows, sort/filter etc.
