Exciting role for an experienced internal communications and events manager at a global financial institution. Working extensively in procurement, this is a varied role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload and a meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop a multi-stakeholder, multi channel annual communications strategy
- Measure the effectiveness of the communications and channels on an ongoing basis
- Deliver timely, informative and inspiring communications to customers and suppliers through a range of channels
- Prepare communications on a wide range of issues, translating business messages into inspiring and compelling communications
- Pro-actively seek out speaker and author opportunities
- Organise a series of high-profile events to drive further value from supplier partnerships
- Work with senior stakeholders to agree they key messaging, formatting and attendees
- Work effectively with all areas of the business
- Prepare compelling speech material, presentations and handouts
Requirements
- Excellent academic background
- Previous experience in a communications role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems with tight deadlines
- Ability to remain calm in time of pressure
