An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the heart of the West End.
This role would suit someone with experience of, or qualifications in accountancy, who has the skills to take on the management and administrative aspects and flourishes in a small team.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
- Completion of accounts to trial balance
- VAT submissions
- Maintaining necessary accounting records and files
- Dealing with external auditors at interim and full year accounts stage
- Monitoring debtors and collecting overdue where necessary
- Online banking
Administration
- Telephone answering skills (e.g. blocking cold callers)
- Taking messages and ensuring these are passed on promptly
- Monitoring and re-ordering office supplies, stamps and tea, milk and coffee etc
- Dealing with courier packages etc when required
- Liaison with Landlords representatives
- Looking after visitors
- Liaison with Travel Company for Flight bookings etc
- Preparation of Board Packs as required
- Helping to maintain standard of office including liaison with management of cleaning contractor
Requirements:
- Previous book keeping experience, ideally gained within a boutique style firm
- Experienced Sage user
- Good Excel skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Well organised
- Attention to detail
- Good communicator
- Trustworthy
