This established and successful events company which specialises in working with high profile clients in the property industry, is looking for somebody to manage the small but very busy office and provide PA support to the founder.    

The company organises prestigious launches and corporate events requiring a high level of creative design and working with the best food and drink suppliers including top chefs.

Responsibilities will include  :

-          Day to day running of the office, making sure everything is running efficiently, ordering stocks and supplies

-          Management of all incoming emails, responding to enquiries and dealing with any problems

-          PA duties to the director - organise meetings and diary management

-          Secretarial support, i.e.  - proposals, filing etc 

-          Being fully aware of each event (timelines and deadlines)

-          Prepare the weekly team meeting agenda

-          Manage and coordinate event guest lists from start to finish

-          Database updates

-          Invitation management (all aspects - invitee lists, production of invitations to dispatch)

-          Provide administrative support to the team as required

-          Monitor stock of all office supplies (stationery and event orders etc)

-          Process sales and purchase invoices

Required qualities and skills

This role will suit a hands-on, pro-active, unflappable administrator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and impeccable attention to detail.  You will ideally be educated to degree level and have PA experience in a relevant sector.  You will need to be well-presented and confident to liaise with people at all levels, willing to pitch in to help whenever necessary and able to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload when required.  

You will need to have confident MS Office skills, particularly Excel as you will be working with large mailing lists and databases, which will involve updating and mail merging.

It is important that the successful candidate lives within easy reach of central London as punctuality and reliability is essential.

W1 based, close to Oxford Circus.

Hours :  9:00 – 6:00 with a 30 minute break
