Human Resources Manager – Part time £60,000 - £65,000

High end Investment Managers are seeking an experience HR Manager to joing their business as a stand alone function.

The HR manager will support the people management functions that underpin the business culture. The broad areas include: employee matters, compensation and benefits, talent, professional growth, communications and performance management.

  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
  • Providing an advisory service to employees, ensuring HR matters are handled fairly
  • Supporting line managers with grievance and disciplinary hearings
  • Liaison with Company lawyers as and when necessary
  • Working with line managers on performance management, recruitment and employee relations
  • Dealing with the annual appraisal process including follow-up with managers and their teams
  • Working with the Finance team with regards to remuneration and benefits
  • Management of all personnel records and files
  • Development of an overall HR business plan with measurable objectives
  • Organisation development, change management initiatives, and company-wide culture and environment at work for employees.
  • Oversees employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
  • Managing external executive recruiting agencies, employment agencies, recruiters, and temporary staffing agencies.
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of all human resources efforts both financially and in terms of whether they produced the company's needed objectives and outcomes.
  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.
  • Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
  • Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • Have a CIPD or equivalent qualification
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
  • Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful and strategic advice and input across the company and on the senior executive team.
  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change.
