Publications Officer

A renowned medical membership body are looking for a Publications Officer to contribute with their creative editorial talent to plan, design, write and edit a range of materials/ publications newsletters and email campaigns. This Publications Officer role is a permanent position and it pays up to £30k. Location: Chancery Lane/ Holborn.

The Publications Officer duties:

-Managing the production of one of the most recognised publications, overseeing all aspects of design, delivery and quality assurance

- Collating articles, organising copy flow and seeking new ways to enhance each issue

- Commissioning articles, review synopses, coordinate issue themes

- Compiling content for review and proofreading

- Liaising regularly with Guest Editors, Authors and Reviewers

- Building a good working relationship with the membership's external

- Writing articles, features, backgrounders and profiles

- Creating newsletters and email campaigns for Joint Action

- Arranging training and event materials for production and publication
